Criminal Injuries Compensation
The Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority is a government scheme designed to pay compensation to those who have unfortunately suffered an injury as the result of a violent crime. In order to claim compensation you must have reported the crime to Police Scotland. This ensures that there is a record of the incident which we can then rely upon. You may not know the name of the perpetrator of the crime, however, as long as you have the police reference number we are able to request the appropriate report. We hope that our clients never find themselves in this situation, but if they ever do they know they can turn to us.
At Khan Law we are committed to assisting you in claiming compensation for your injury. For some of our clients this is the first time that they are claiming compensation.
