Road Traffic Accidents

Claiming Compensation

You are only entitled to claim compensation up to 3 years from the date of your accident (or 16th Birthday if you were a minor at the time), after this date you will no longer be able to claim.

Car accidents, or Road Traffic Accidents, are unfortunately a common occurrence on our roads. With so many cars on the road at any one time, it is inevitable that there will be accidents. In any accident we all worry about the same things, “how much is my car damaged?” “How much is it going to cost to repair it?” “Who was at fault?” However, we sometimes don’t think about ourselves and any injury that we suffered as a result of the accident. A large number of those who have been involved in a road traffic accident do not seek any medical attention and do not claim compensation for their injuries.
