Sometimes, we find ourselves in accidents where the other driver is at fault, but they are either uninsured or fail to stop and provide their details (untraced). In such cases, pursuing compensation can seem difficult, as suing the driver directly may not be an option. However, the Motor Insurers’ Bureau (MIB) offers both an uninsured driver scheme and an untraced driver scheme. This means that even if the other driver is uninsured or doesn’t stop, you can still claim compensation through the MIB. It’s important to note that you must report the incident to the police to be eligible for an MIB claim.

At Khan Law, we are here to guide you through the process of claiming compensation for your injury. For many of our clients, this might be their first time pursuing compensation, so we make sure to explain every step of the process to ensure your experience is as smooth as possible.
